WHAT THE POLICIES SAY

Twitch is a live-streaming platform operated by Twitch Interactive, Inc., an Amazon.com subsidiary since 2014. Its Privacy Notice (last modified 2026-01-15) covers account details, chats and communications, voice or image, payment data, and device and usage data; state disclosures add viewing, browsing, and search history, chat content, and inference data. Data may be shared with and combined across the Amazon corporate family, Amazon systems provide interest-based advertising, and cookie and device identifiers are shared with third-party ad networks for cross-context behavioral advertising. Twitch states it does not sell personal information, honors Global Privacy Control, and publishes semiannual transparency reports. In October 2021 a server misconfiguration exposed source code and creator payout data; Turkey's KVKK fined Twitch 2 million lira over the incident in 2024.
