DATA BROKERS

WHAT THE POLICIES SAY

Radaris is a people-search website that compiles and sells access to profiles of individuals — most of whom are not Radaris users or account holders — built from public records, licensed data brokers, and third-party databases; its own privacy policy governs only Radaris's treatment of site visitors and account holders, not the data subjects whose profiles are the product. Radaris's policy states it collects device/cookie data (IP address, device ID, browser type, screen resolution) via cookies, tags and beacons and uses Google Analytics, and states user personal information is 'never sold or disclosed outside the limited circumstances described here', while separately requiring users to acknowledge Radaris does not provide consumer reports and that data from its services is not to be used for purposes regulated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act — a disclaimer common to people-search sites whose compiled background-style data could otherwise trigger FCRA obligations. Radaris's own policy discloses no legal operating entity, incorporation state, or corporate address; the operating entity's name — Radaris, LLC — surfaces instead in a November 2025 New Jersey court filing listing 'Atlas v. Radaris, LLC' (Docket MID-L-000847-24) among 111 active Daniel's Law data-broker compliance suits pending in New Jersey Superior Court. No judgment, settlement, or regulator order specific to Radaris was found at a primary/court source in this research.

Radaris, LLC' (Docket MID-L-000847-24, Middlesex County) among 111 active Daniel's Law data-broker compliance suits, naming the defendant entity as Radaris, LLC — the operating company's legal name is not disclosed on Radaris's own privacy policy, which names only the 'Radaris' brand.

[2026-05-01] · SHARING
Radaris's privacy policy requires users to acknowledge that Radaris does not provide consumer reports and to agree that information obtained from its services will not be used for purposes regulated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, a self-declared position that the compiled profile data falls outside FCRA's consumer-report protections; the policy separately states user personal information is 'never sold or disclosed outside the limited circumstances described here', which include advertising and analytics partners.
